HSH Chairman Provides Deer Demonstration

Hunters Sharing the Harvest chairman, Rick Fetrow, provided a demonstration on butchering and processing a deer to a group of 31 hunters and game enthusiasts at the Meadow Creek Barbecue on September 9 in New Holland.
His expertise, which dates back to 1993 when he started processing meat into steaks and other cuts for friends, turned into a thriving business that he sold in 2005, and is now applied to his current endeavor, Grandpa’s Country Catering. Rick’s day job as Senior Field Consultant at Tyson Foods involves teaching food safety at area supermarkets and restaurants.
